Frequently Asked Questions

  • Longevity medicine is an approach to care that focuses on supporting both lifespan and healthspan—the years spent in good health and function. It brings together elements of general practice, preventative care, and lifestyle medicine to look at your health more broadly over time, rather than only addressing illness as it arises.

In your consultation, we take the time to understand your medical history, lifestyle, current concerns, and individual risk factors. Where appropriate, we may discuss investigations and management options to guide next steps. The aim is to provide a clearer, more complete picture of your health, so you can make informed decisions about your care moving forward.

  • This clinic was created to allow more time for your health. We take a preventative and holistic approach to care, with a focus on long-term health and wellbeing. By offering extended consultations, we’re able to spend more time understanding your history, lifestyle, and risk factors in depth—rather than working within the constraints of a standard short appointment.

  • No—care here is simple and transparent. You only book and pay for the appointments you need, with follow-up arranged in a way that suits you.

  • Most initial consultations are 60 minutes, giving us the time to have a more meaningful and thorough discussion. Follow-ups are arranged depending on your needs but are usually around 30 minutes.

Some people prefer structured follow-up, others check in as needed—we’ll decide together what feels right for you.

  • Absolutely. While there is a focus on lifestyle and longevity, you’re welcome to book for any general health concerns as well.

  • This is a GP led clinic, where clinicians are able to review medication options. If appropriate, medications can be discussed as part of your overall plan. This is always considered carefully alongside lifestyle and other factors.

  • Our GP team can assess your individual needs and talk through appropriate testing options, including what they may add to your care. The aim is to keep investigations purposeful and not unnecessarily complex.

Onsite pathology collection is available for your convenience. Some specialised assessments—such as body composition DEXA scans, VO₂ max testing, and continuous glucose monitoring (CGM)—are arranged privately and are not included in consultation fees.

Where relevant, these options can be discussed during your appointment to determine whether they may be appropriate for you.

  • Initial consultations (60 minutes) are $495.
    Follow-up consultations (30-45 minutes) start from $250.

A Medicare rebate may be available for in-person consultations, depending on eligibility. Telehealth consultations are privately billed unless you have attended the clinic in person within the previous 12 months, in line with Medicare requirements.

  • We understand that plans can change. A DNA (did not attend) or late cancellation fee may apply. If you need to make changes to your appointment, please contact the clinic 24 hours prior to your appointment.

  • Your appointment is designed to be thorough, relaxed, and unhurried. We begin with a detailed discussion of your medical history, current health, lifestyle, and any concerns you’d like to explore.

A focused physical examination may be performed, along with simple strength and functional assessments where relevant. Depending on your needs, this may also include tests such as an ECG or spirometry.

We will review any current medications and supplements as part of building a clear picture of your health.

You’re welcome to wear comfortable clothing, particularly if physical or functional assessments are likely to be included.

Following your consultation, further investigations or testing may be recommended where appropriate, and we will discuss these with you in detail so you can decide on the next steps.
